This atlas is a comprehensive compendium of congenital cardiac morphology as depicted by tomographic two-dimensional echocardiography. Anatomic specimens cut in planes of section corresponding to the echocardiographic views help in the understanding of the echocardiographic sections. Composite photographs relate different planes of section or cardiac events. Still-frame photography cannot always adequately relate real-time imaging events.
