Patti Callahan Henry is a New York Times bestselling author whose novels include The Bookshop at Water’s End, The Idea of Love, The Stories We Tell, Driftwood Summer, The Favorite Daughter, The Art of Keeping Secrets, and Surviving Savannah. She has written sixteen books to date, mostly in the genre of historical fiction As Patti Callahan, she’s the author of the USA Today bestseller Becoming Mrs. Lewis. Her new novel also based on C.S Lewis' life, Once Upon a Wardrobe was recently released.
Callahan was short-listed for the Townsend Prize for Fiction, and nominated multiple times for the Southern Independent Booksellers Alliance (SIBA) Book Award for Fiction. She received The Harper Lee Award for Alabama's Distinguished Writer of the Year. Patti lives in Alabama with her husband and is a registered pediatric nurse. In addition to her work as an author, Callahan is a frequent speaker at luncheons, book clubs, women’s groups, and hosts the podcast Friends and Fiction.
