A. A. MILNE born in England in 1882, left Cambridge to pursue his passion for writing and quickly made a name for himself as an editor at Punch magazine and as a successful playwright. In 1920, he welcomed his son Christopher Robin Milne into the world, whose beloved toy animals would go on to inspire the unforgettable characters of Winnie-the-Pooh fame. Although Milne wrote plays, political nonfiction, novels, and an autobiography throughout his career, it is his timeless stories about Pooh Bear that have captured hearts around the world. He died passed in January 31, 1956.
